Congratulations to our 2016 Chapter Excellence Award Winner
Our National Awards Committee has received the submissions and the jury has deliberated. We are pleased to announce that SDA Atlanta is the winner of this year's Chapter Excellence Award. The jury considered best practices in six different areas including: Best Membership Campaign; Best Membership Retention Outreach; Best Educational Program; Best Networking/Social Event; Best Fundraising Effort; Best Communication Tool.

Lifetime Achievement Award (LTA)
This prestigious award is presented annually to a member who has made continued and significant contributions to the Society for Design Administration throughout their membership. Any SDA member (including Members-at-Large or Chapter) may nominate a member/member-at-large for this honor. Evaluation shall be based upon the descriptive essay of the nominee’s achievements, letter of reference from nominee’s supervisor and/or professional peer, and volume and type of SDA involvement. The purpose of this award is to recognize the service and dedication of an individual to SDA. It is given for significant contributions to the membership of a Chapter or the entire Society through participation in and support of its meetings and publications, fundraising, recruitment, or other significant activities.
