Unless they were trained in all things IT, they probably started asking questions, such as, “What’s the purpose of this? What if we did this instead?” They started acquiring “IT analyst” skills with collecting requirements and identifying other ways to solve the problem, but oftentimes they needed the services of IT experts. This business practice event will help, if you’re new to tackling basic IT tasks, or if you’re looking for best practices and consideration. We’re bringing the expert to you! Join us on Sept. 15 to spend an hour with the incredible Jesse Norling, the President/CEO of Computer Service Corporation. He’ll cover:

  • WIFI employee networks, spam email blockers and how to identify spam, sending zip files, and 2-factor authentication
  • Recommendations – options ranging from satellite to dedicated fiber and everything in between, safe password apps, home office (routers, webcams, servers), Network Power Switch
  • Cybersecurity, and the types of threats you should be worried about
  • Understanding WIFI, and how to choose the right WIFI router for your home
  • When you should bring IT in-house vs. outsourcing

Presenters: Jesse Norling

Jesse Norling is President/CEO of Computer Service Corporation. His company provides IT solutions to small and mid-sized businesses in Western Washington. They specialize in system management and maintenance, as well as in system upgrades and design. They are also experts at wireless, from adding wireless to a small office to covering a large warehouses and even metropolitan areas. They have the experience to get wireless working in areas others cannot, and are also experienced in Washington state as a low voltage contractor and provide cabling and wiring services.
