SDA is nothing without its Membership. The more we grow our Membership, the greater is our combined body of knowledge, the magnitude of our network, and our ability to positively impact the quality of design-firm management. How successful we are at generating growth depends on our combined and concerted recruiting efforts, and how well and how frequently we get the word out about SDA.

Administrative Professionals Week Toolkit - NEW FOR 2025!

The National Membership Committee has created a new toolkit to make a big splash for this year's Administrative Professionals Week (APW) which is April 21-25, 2025. The theme this year is "SDA & Me". Chapters are encourage to use the toolkit to help promote this effort during the month of April. Check out the files and templates here that contains everything you need to raise awareness and promote SDA!

Multi-Office Membership Campaign

Membership is vital to the success of SDA, and we are working hard to provide you tools to help build membership within your local chapters and across the country. Many of our members have branch offices, and it makes perfect sense that we reach out to other administrators in our branch offices and invite them to join SDA. Could there be a better testimonial to what the SDA is all about than your personal invitation?

In an effort to help our chapters and members stay connected to our recruitment efforts, we have begun including all members in our membership campaigns. This is your chance to forward the email to another colleague that you know would benefit from becoming an SDA member. You can also help us grow our prospect database by sending us the names of firm principals, managers and administrators who should be added to our list. Use the Contact Us form or send an email to admin@sdanational.org and use "Prospects" in your subject line.

SDA National continues to receive examples of local chapter campaigns and resources in an effort to increase collaboration and efficiency among chapter leadership. You can access them here. If your chapter has any new material you would like to contribute that might inspire other chapters, please e-mail the editable documents to SDA Headquarters.

Membership Recruitment Packet

To help members and local chapters in their various recruiting efforts, SDA National has produced and updated a variety of documents, brochures, and other tools to help you communicate who we are and how membership benefits members and member firms. Place these inside a red pocket folder, and you’ll have a well-rounded Membership Packet to mail to prospective members and to hand out or place at myriad events that can serve as marketing opportunities for SDA.
