NEW for EDS26: Chapter SpotlightsNot every meaningful chapter success fits into a traditional award submission — and we don’t want to miss those stories. What is a Chapter Spotlight?Chapter Spotlights are non-competitive recognitions — no judging, no rankings. Each participating chapter will record a short, informal conversation with a committee member. The conversation will be edited into a 3–5 minute highlight video to be shown during the EDS26 Awards Luncheon and shared with the SDA community. Lifetime Achievement
This prestigious award is presented annually to a member who has made continued and significant contributions to the SDA throughout their membership. Evaluation is based on the descriptive essay of the nominee’s achievements, letter of reference from nominee’s supervisor and/or professional peer, and volume and type of SDA involvement.
