PPC Grant Call for Applications

The Past Presidents’ Council (PPC) is pleased to announce that we are offering four (4) conference grants for EDSymposium26. Two (2) $1,500 grants will be awarded to the highest scoring first-time attendee qualified applicants, and two (2) $1,500 grants will be awarded to the highest scoring returning attendees. 

The PPC grants provide financial assistance to qualifying SDA members for the purpose of participating in educational, networking, and mentoring programs during SDA’s annual conference May 13-15, 2026 in Atlanta, GA.

Submit the PPC Professional Development Grant Application, professional resume, and responses to one mandatory essay question, and a choice of one other essay question as outlined on the narrative.  Each item is worth 25 points, for a total of 75 points.   PPC reserves the right to not award the grant if application criteria is not met.

DEADLINE-- Date for receiving applications is 5:00 pm Eastern, March 2, 2026. 

Recipients will be notified no later than March 12, 2026.

Early Bird Registration price for EDS26 will be honored for winners.

The PPC Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable foundation whose mission is to provide an annual grant to SDA for educational purposes.  SDA, through a scholarship program administered by the SDAPPC, provides scholarships to SDA members to attend EDSymposium.  Funding for the PPC Foundation is primarily through individual donations from the Past Presidents’ Council members.  The PPC fundraising evening event, with items also donated by the PPC members, generates further income to the Foundation from the EDS attendees who support it. The Past Presidents’ Council would like to thank all donors who make these grants possible.
